Sooo... While shaving my hunnys neck, we were dicussing a mutal friend of ours and the rumors we have heard. This friend is an amazingly awesome girl that is dating and SOOO in love with an equally amazing guy... Or atleast I think she is SOOO in love...
Rumor has it that she was/is messing around with another guy, that just happens to be a friend of my hunnys...
When this is brought up, never by me, she denies it full heartedly. To the point that she is taking offense. So I believe her and really it doesnt make a difference to me... It wouldnt change my view on her at all...
But anyways, hunny and I were talking and I was saying how I would be shocked if it was true because she plays the LOVE card so well... She is super convincing if its not legit... And his response was "Well she could be in love with him, but she could also be in love with the D...."
Whats your ideas on it? Do you think its possible to be IN LOVE with someone and yet be out doing you?
I dont agree... I dont feel like there would be time for that or need for that if you were truly in love.
And the fact that MY love told me he feels differently about it really rubs me the wrong way...
Just looking for some related thoughts on it...

The Beginning Of My Writings...
I am Kaylee North, daughter of Carrie North and Bill DeRemer. Although, growing up you never would have known. I guess in more truthfulness I should really start this as, I am Kaylee North, daughter of Carrie North and Doug Barnes. Or to take it one step farther- I am Kaylee North, the product of Carrie and Doug Barnes, and Karen and Dean North. If you haven't gathered by now, my growth was a extremely delicate group effort of several wonderful people, all with their own unique flaws. The missing link in my childhood would ultimately be my biological father, step-mother, and three sisters that I never had the liberty of knowing until I was 19 and a freshman in college, but I digress, we will get there later. But through it all, I would say that I turned out ok.
I have always said (and still believe) that my life could be a movie or a weekly sitcom. So ill continue posting small stories and ideas that come to my mind and maybe you will agree.

Self Improvement
And No I don't mean that I am going to start reading self-help books...
I am talking about the things that I would like to improve/add to my life. I think I'm going to start a list and maybe come back and update it periodically...
1. Be more musical.
2. Utilize down time more successfully.
3. Write more.
4. Let the creative juices flow.
5. Be less demanding.
6. Blog more.
7. More organized.
To help with my musical dreams of being the next Sara Bareilles I received a keyboard for Christmas, and although I am starting slow, my goal is to be able to play a song the whole way through... This is my first musical endeavor, I have never played an instrument of any kind, guitar hero does not count... My son also got a harmonica with instruction booklet, so I think I may explore that avenue as well...
By utilizing my down time more successfully I can kill several birds with one stone... Letting the creative juices flow and writing and blogging and organizing maybe... ;o) I would like to craft more, paint more, write a book (hopefully you will see some short writings of mine on here soon), play more, dance more, workout more, and millions of other things that I think I need more of in my life...
I hope to improve or experiment in all areas throughout this year and hopefully become a better me. I mean what better is there is to spend your time on but yourself...

The Secret Between Us
What starts as a simple assumption quickly develops into this families nightmare, threatening to tear their world upside down. A young girl is driving home on a dark raining night, out of nowhere a figure flies from the woods and in front of the car. She had just hit a man! Where do they go from there...
Heavy topics are discussed. Divorce and the struggle to stay a family, a young childs feelings with sudden blindness, a fathers drinking problem, a young girl looking for experience, living up to ones expectations or the lack of, pressures of friends and society and where that brings you, bringing new life into this less-than-perfect life and yet being able to sleep at night after all is said and done.
I am a fan of Barbara Delinsky and she has some other very good books that I recommend checking out.

Sis.BOOM.Bah.
If you have sisters, that you dont always see eye to eye with this would be a humorous book to check out...
Being that I have sisters, one in particular came to mind when I was reading it, I could relate to this book wonderfully. I found the sisters bickering quite amusing since we (the unmentioned sister and I) tend to make small snide remarks while the other one tries to claim ignorance, like she has no clue what the other is talking about... I would like, at times, to really hash it out with her, but that would take her admitting her faults... Which I doubt would ever happen, even if the issue is no longer important, on my side, or not...
Besides all the family bickering, there is a murder to be solved. One that both sisters seem to have landed themselves in the middle of. Romances are found, some long lasting and some not... Undercover work is needed and in the end the sisters get through it by being themselves... ;o) The ending is quite funny and not that far fetched...
Good book... Easy read...

Make A Difference...
EVERYDAY!!
This morning at 8 am I was standing at the diamond registering for the day, recieving my t-shirt, and unfortunately missing all the coffee and hot chocolate... ;o(
Nevermind the fact that I hadnt got to sleep until well after 2 am AND that I had had one too many drinks the night before...
I was there and I was going to do my part of making a difference. There were over 100 different projects and over 1000 volunteers! Awesome turnout in my mind because our town is really small...
I was helping the Middle School clean up their courtyard. Raking, clipping, trimming, and sweating out what little moisture remained in my body... All in all it was a rewarding opportunity to help out and make a difference. Although in my mind, the courtyard looked a mess. Before and after. But, hey. Atleast we tried.
I really think that Make A Difference Day does make a difference... but... why does it only happen one day? Shouldnt we be making a difference EVERY day? Or atleast trying??
The BFG
Lets go back to the days of our youth with writers like Dr. Seuss, Judy Blume, Shel Silverstein, and ROALD DAHL... ;o) Let me just say... I <3 it... If you have never read the childhood classics I seriously recommend that you do. If you dont you are seriously missing out...
A small girl sees a giant peeking in childrens windows. The giant knows he has been spotted and grabs her. Thats how the journey begins... Come to find out, the giant that took her is the only nice giant around and that doesnt eat people! Talk about lucky! Sophie and The BFG (Big Friendly Giant) become an impossible team thats set on saving all the innocent people from being eaten by the others...
Just typing this out brings a smile to my face and the urge to read this again... ;o)
